Johnson Carlier has begun incorporating Building Information Modeling (BIM) into our business processes. We have selected Autodesk REVIT™ software in conjunction with NavisWorks™, which will be used to communicate design intent across multiple construction disciplines. We are currently in the process of gearing up for implementation and training and are looking forward to implementing this new technology, which will allow us to operate more efficiently and effectively.

BIM will allow Johnson Carlier to: Enhance cost savings by eliminating construction waste and speed construction Coordinates different trades to avoid conflicts Visualize alternative solutions and options Remove clutter on the construction site by accurate quality take-offs Evaluate and optimize construction sequencing Improve quality of construction by enabling prefabrication Identify conflicts and obtain resolution prior to construction Reduce change orders
